Salesforce launches a generative AI CRM technology
The world’s first generative AI customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Einstein GPT, has been released by Salesforce. The system will provide personalized content for interactions across sales, service, marketing, commerce, and IT using real-time data from the Salesforce Data Cloud. Clients may integrate data with OpenAI’s cutting-edge AI models or employ external models within Salesforce CRM to create dynamic content that responds to user requirements. In order to invest in high-potential businesses and support ethical, reliable, and generative AI, Salesforce Ventures has also established a $250 million Generative AI Fund.

Dish Wireless receives FCC permission to test T-Mobile’s 5G spectrum
Dish Wireless will perform 5G testing using part of T-Mobile’s low-band spectrum before determining whether to acquire the spectrum later this year. The Federal Communications Commission approved the testing, which will be conducted in Arizona until September 30. Dish has the option to purchase 13.5 MHz of airwaves in the 817-824 MHz and 862-869 MHz bands from T-Mobile for $3.59 billion, which it may exercise by April 1. If Dish does not acquire the spectrum, it will owe $72 million to T-Mobile and $360 million to the US government, unless it satisfies deployment conditions.

Sangoma Technologies has teamed with technology services distributor AVANT to deliver cloud-based Communications as a Service solution to AVANT’s clients. With this agreement, AVANT’s Trusted Advisors will be able to offer a package of cloud-native communications solutions, including Sangoma’s UCaaS system, cloud-based video meetings, collaboration, contact center, CPaaS, SIP trunking, and MSP services, that are all connected and functioning together. According to Jamie Minner, Chief Revenue Officer at Sangoma, the company continues to invest in the Technology Services Distributor channel, with AVANT being the newest addition to the TSD partner network.

Airtame, a Copenhagen-based hardware-enabled SaaS platform provider, has released three major feature enhancements to Airtame Rooms, its hybrid conferencing solution, to boost hybrid collaboration. Airtame Rooms now has a complete Zoom connection, as well as calendar connectors with Microsoft and Google.
