Telgorithm launches a new product feature dubbed Time Routing

Telgorithm, an A2P text messaging API provider, has introduced Time Routing, a novel product feature that enables enterprises to better manage queued A2P messages. Businesses may use this tool to plan communications in advance, cancel them, or “expire” queued messages that are no longer required owing to time constraints on a per campaign basis. In particular, for high-volume and time-sensitive SMS/MMS initiatives, this capability enables enterprises to better manage A2P communications and save expenses. A look into major ISPs’ net zero emissions goals

Zayo intends to be carbon-neutral by 2030, ahead of other ISPs. Verizon had the highest recorded emissions of all the service providers included in this review, emitting over 7 million metric tons of carbon in 2021. However, the company aims to reach net-zero emissions by 2035, along with AT&T, Charter Communications, Comcast and Consolidated Communications. Many operators highlighted fleet emissions as a substantial contributor to pollution, with AT&T estimating that they account for 52% of their Scope 1 emissions. However, fleet concerns persist, with some operators claiming insufficient battery range and charging station capacity as barriers to complete electric vehicle adoption.

Microsoft integrates Snapchat Lenses into Teams video calls

Microsoft and Snap have collaborated to incorporate 26 Snapchat augmented reality (AR) Lenses into Microsoft’s Teams video conferencing platform. The Lenses will be available in the app’s “Video effects” section, under “Snapchat”. Following the incorporation of Microsoft Flip in 2022, this is the second time Microsoft has utilized Snap’s Camera Kit software development kit to add Lenses to one of its services. The Lenses are only accessible in the current version of Teams for Work and not the “New Teams” preview that was revealed in March.
