Ooma Inc., a renowned smart communications platform for businesses and consumers, has recently announced the introduction of Call Screening, Distinctive Ringtones, and other advanced capabilities for its Ooma Office business phone service. Named by PC Magazine in March as the Business Choice award winner for the Best VoIP System for ten years consecutively, Ooma Office is designed to make small-to-medium-sized businesses more efficient and productive.

The platform provides a curated set of capabilities, offering transparent pricing for three service plans. The new features include Call Screening to avoid robocalls and distractions, Distinctive Ringtones to easily distinguish incoming calls for specific groups, Call Deflection to Text for sending pre-written text messages, and Call Leaderboard to track team performance.

Faxing from the Mobile App and Distinctive Ringtones are available on all service plans, while other features are plan-specific. Dennis Peng, Vice President of Product Management at Ooma, said that the new capabilities added at no extra cost are intended to make Ooma Office more valuable by providing additional efficiency tools for managing phone calls, texts, faxes, and videoconferences.
